Here is an opportunity to share your experiences from the recent NSW Bushfires (use the comments section below). The EMSINA Group would like to hear about how you used spatial information during the event and your opinion on what could be improved for future events i.e. data accessibility, mapping products, mobile apps, symbology, imagery charter, consistency, etc...
If you have some maps, photos that your happy for the world to see email them through and i will collate and post them up in a special NSW Fires 2013 item.
Also, here is your opportunity to give thanks to those individuals who went out of the way to assist you in your job during the event. In particular, i take my hat off to the guys from NSW RFS (Gareth, Levi and the crew) for being so responsive to external requests for data and information!
